About Boston Beacon News Boston
Who we are, who owns this station, and how our newsroom works.
Boston Beacon News Boston is a local news station serving Suffolk County and the metro Boston area — live newscasts, weather, traffic, investigations and sports, published first on this website and carried on the T.W.A. App. Our promise is in the slogan: Live. Local. Always On.
Ownership
Boston Beacon News Boston is owned and operated by T.W.A.. Boston Beacon News Boston stands on its own as an independent local news station: local news, reported straight, for the city it calls home.
What we cover
Local news across Boston neighborhoods, Massachusetts news that lands at home, politics from City Hall to the Capitol, weather and traffic around the clock, investigations that follow the records and the money, and the sports this city lives for — including the Boston Celtics and Friday night high school football.
How we work
Stories on this site are reported and written by the Boston Beacon News newsroom. Every story carries a byline and a publication time, and when we get something wrong we fix it in the open — see our Corrections Policy. The people and desks behind the coverage are listed on our Newsroom page.
